Government authorities change along with society. The relations between authorities and businesses or private persons are more and more often of a judicial nature. Individuals and interest groups are increasingly making appeals under the Government Information (Public Access) Act, rulings are being contested, European regulations are affecting the freedom of action, and authorities acting as contracting parties are being approached with increasing criticism. As regular lawyer to a number of larger authorities and semi-public institutions in the North of the Netherlands, we are well versed in the complexities of administrative law. In addition, we’re practised in the often complex field of private law for authorities. On the side bar, you’ll see the areas for which Trip Law are most frequently engaged by government bodies.
